As a father has compassion on his children,
So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.
For he knows how we are formed, he remembers we are dust.
As for man, his days are like the grass.
Like the flower of the field he flourishes; the wind blows and removes it from its place.
But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord's love is with those who fear him!

Born again of spirit and water, lift your voice and let us sing.
May our worship rise like incense, even to the father's throne:

Round his throne are angels gathering; saints and prophets all bowed down.
Heaven's courts are filled with their chanting, shaking with the mighty sound.
